Republican Senators Question Biden Regarding Trapped Americans And Allies In Afghanistan

Published

on

The Biden administration likes to paint the venture in Afghanistan as a success but the American public, through the mainstream media’s reports, sees only a portion of the debacle. We are not sure how many Americans and Afghan allies are still trapped in the Taliban-ruled nation. What’s scary is that they have no choice but to fend for themselves since our troops have already arrived back home.

Recently, a group consisting of 26 Republicans led by Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas, pressured president Biden to give an accurate report on the number of Americans, special immigrant visa applicants and green card holders that are currently stuck in Afghanistan.

“We write regarding the humanitarian crisis created by your withdrawal of the United States from Afghanistan, and the safety and well-being of our fellow countrymen and allies who you left behind,” the senators stated in a letter to the president.

“The signatories of this letter may have differing opinions about whether the United States should have maintained a military presence in Afghanistan, but we all agree that the arbitrary and poorly-planned method by which you withdrew from Afghanistan caused this crisis,” they continued.

Being stranded in the region while the Islamic extremists roam the land is a very dangerous situation for our fellow Americans as well as the Afghans who assisted us in our battle against the terrorists. We don’t want these people to be inconvenienced by overstaying in Afghanistan and we certainly do not want them to be troubled when they get to the United States.

Without a doubt, Biden and his cohorts in the Pentagon are the ones to blame for this epic failure. Thanks to our GOP senators, our worries and concerns have been voiced out to this negligent government.

“By what criteria did your administration select these individuals for the airlift while leaving American citizens, green-card holders, and SIV applicants and their families behind? How many evacuees, in total, are Afghans who are not American citizens, green-card holders, or SIV applicants or their families? Please also provide a breakdown of how many of these individuals are adult men, adult women, girls, or boys,” the senators questioned Biden.

“We request thorough, unclassified answers to these questions that can be made available to the general public. Americans need to see that the United States will not abandon them to terrorists abroad forever. If your answers implicate classified material, you may also submit a classified appendix to your answers and coordinate with us to provide a classified briefing,” the senators demanded.

Trump Says He Is Going to Take Back WH Sooner Than You Think

Published

Praising the strength of the Republican Party, former President Donald Trump thanked supporters and teased a GOP return to the White House “sooner than you think.”

“We’re going to take back the Senate, we’re going to take back the House, and we’re going to take back the White House sooner than you think,” Trump said in a video circulating on Twitter before his North Carolina GOP Conference speech Saturday night.

“It’s going to be really something special. But the love and the affection and the respect you’ve given all of us, it’s really important.

“The Republican Party is strong than it’s ever been, and it’s going to be a lot strong than it is right now.”

Despite social media rumors, the former president was talking about an August return to the White House, advisers and those close to the president have denied he is maintaining that belief.

There are election audits being conducted in Arizona and potentially starting up in Pennsylvania, key battlegrounds that went to President Joe Biden, but Trump’s video did not mention election fraud or the audits before his anticipated address to the GOP in North Carolina, a state he won by around 70,000 votes last November.

“We’re going to turn it around; we’re going to turn it around fast,” Trump concluded in the video. “Thank you all so very much. That support has been incredible. Thank you.”
