Trump Says He Is Going to Take Back WH Sooner Than You Think

Published

Praising the strength of the Republican Party, former President Donald Trump thanked supporters and teased a GOP return to the White House “sooner than you think.”

“We’re going to take back the Senate, we’re going to take back the House, and we’re going to take back the White House sooner than you think,” Trump said in a video circulating on Twitter before his North Carolina GOP Conference speech Saturday night.

“It’s going to be really something special. But the love and the affection and the respect you’ve given all of us, it’s really important.

“The Republican Party is strong than it’s ever been, and it’s going to be a lot strong than it is right now.”

Despite social media rumors, the former president was talking about an August return to the White House, advisers and those close to the president have denied he is maintaining that belief.

There are election audits being conducted in Arizona and potentially starting up in Pennsylvania, key battlegrounds that went to President Joe Biden, but Trump’s video did not mention election fraud or the audits before his anticipated address to the GOP in North Carolina, a state he won by around 70,000 votes last November.

“We’re going to turn it around; we’re going to turn it around fast,” Trump concluded in the video. “Thank you all so very much. That support has been incredible. Thank you.”

One Of Iran’s Biggest Battleship Caught Fire And Sank In The Gulf Of Oman

Published

In one of the most embarrassing displays of incompetence and unpreparedness, one of Iran’s largest warships the Kharg sank in the Gulf of Oman earlier this week. A video of the incident shows huge billows of smoke as a result of the fire that responders have failed to stop from spreading.

The Fars and Tasnim news agencies reported that firefighters struggled for 21 hours to stop the British-built ship from total destruction, before the ship succumbed to the forces of nature. A state-owned oil refinery in Tehran also caught fire, just hours after the Kharg incident.

33 personnels suffered from injuries and 400 sailors and cadets were evacuated. Fortunately, no one perished in this massive mishap.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and there is a huge possibility that it will not be divulged to the public. Some speculate that it is a sabotage operation by their rival Israel but that is unlikely, given the ship’s decades of tenure in the high seas.

The Kharg was first launched in the late 1970’s during the time of dictator Mohammad Reza Pahlavi who was ousted through an Islamic revolution. It has served the Iranian Navy as a resupply ship and has assisted various task forces in their operations. The versatile ship also acted as a training vessel, a launching point for helicopters and it was also used for diplomatic missions.

The Iranian Navy is no stranger to these kinds of accidents, however, the frequency is just too alarming as they have already lost their third warship in the past three years. The Damavand frigate sank in the Caspian Sea in 2018. The Konarak support vessel was destroyed last year when anti-ship missiles were accidentally fired on them by the Jamaran frigate.

Whatever ambitions of global domination for Iran, now remains a dream due to this recent pandemonium. Lives have been claimed by past accidents that could’ve been prevented if proper measures and training were put in place.

Iran’s bullying and consistent flexing of muscles will not work well this time against their rivals and it would be much better if the Islamic Republic will instead choose to sit down with other nations instead of threatening the world with their nuclear capabilities.

That being said, this incident has exhibited the incapacity of the Iranian regime in ruling over their domain and own armed forces. Giving them back the power to handle nuclear weapons could prove to be way more disastrous than the sinking of the Kharg.
